Chick Goes to Hollywood is a humorous examination of Hollywood's underbelly, illuminating the many different facets of Tinseltown. Can Chick make the contacts and receive the wise advice he needs to earn a lucrative contract in the new Spielberg or Cohen brothers project?

Chick obviously needs a make-over to propel him to stardom, so, unsurprisingly, his first port of call is to Hollywood's finest wig-maker, Ralph Sampson. Everybody's favourite football pundit then proceeds to walk and talk with a celebrity stylist who persuades our man to remove the obligatory sheepskin jacket and swap it for delightful red, leather trousers.

During Chick's hilarious journey he seeks words of wisdom from one of England's most enigmatic actors, Malcolm McDowell, speaks to psychic mother of Sly, Jacqueline Stallone, and asks former Dynasty icon, Stephanie Beacham, what it takes to come from overseas and make it in Tinseltown.

All the tricks of the trade are used during Chick's quest to become a movie legend, including a visit to one of America's most successful male porn stars and a rompologist who studies Chick's rear in a bizarre effort to predict his fate; but does she anticipate emphatic success or ignominious failure?
