Michael
Aspel: Stephanie, you're going to confess a shooting, are
you?
Stephanie: Yes. I'm hopeless with
guns and Chuck said, 'Oh, don't worry my dear. I've been working
with guns since I was a child.' And I said, 'Yes, but darling, I
haven't. I can't do it.' And he said... 'I'll look after you.' And
I got all emotional (laughs) and shot him in the eye.
I phoned Lydia that night and said 'Is he alright? Is he
alright?' And she, very wryly said, 'Yes, he will keep his
vision.'
And then, the next morning, just to add insult to my already - I
thought I'd killed our hero - Chuck came in wearing an eyepatch
with a blind eye painted on it.
Heston:
Ah yes, that was one of my better marriages.
Stephanie: That's not why I'm here.
I want to say that you are the most loving, caring and generous
acting partner. And the most loving, caring and generous human
being. And God bless you.
Heston: Ah... bless you Stephanie.
Michael Aspel: Thank you Stephanie. |
