The Love Boat's doctor, Adam Bricker, marries a fairly young girl. They spend their honeymoon on the Love Boat - where they run into Adam's ex-wife, Elaine who is, also, spending her honeymoon there, with a younger man. After the first shock, the two couples pretend it is wonderful that everyone has found a new love and is happy again. But it soon appears that both Adam and Elaine have problems keeping up with their much younger spouses... and they appear to be more interested in getting closer to each other again anyway. This goes as far as to make Adam's wife and Elaine's husband run off together... but it ends happily with Adam and Elaine falling in love again and getting back together.
