Actress Stephanie Beacham understands what it's like to live with a hearing loss. She was born partially deaf.

Last November while she was in the UK filming the first batch of Bad Girls, she took a day out to visit Hearing Dogs: "I have enjoyed an extraordinary career and a wonderful life. I consider myself very lucky, which is why I feel it's time to put something back. What impressed me most about this charity was the way hearing dogs provide uncomplicated companionship to someone isolated by their disability.

Stephanie DogsI want to do all I can to help, which is why I'm launching my Good Girls Appeal through Favour magazine. Here you can read the real-life, heart-warming tales of former rescue inmates like Ceri who have completely enhanced the lives of their deaf owners.

Please save up your coins for Hearing Dogs using one of our small cardboard collecting kennels and make a donation to the Stephanie Beacham Good Girls Appeal. With your help, more people like Barbara can enjoy the freedom that Ceri brings her."
