One
of a series of plays based outside London, designed to reflect the
viewers' interest in what is going on 'out of town'. Each have a
regional flavour and use, wherever possible, regional resources,
writers, actors and directors.
An outside-broadcast unit recorded Bristol's unusual contribution
- The Picnic - on location in The Cotswolds. Producer
Brandon Acton-Bond describes it as 'an out of doors entertainment
written for enjoyment'. |
