The final programme in the Love Stories series (7) is John Hall's The Proposal. Flora and Celia are two student teachers. Flora, after a bad day with a class of adolescents, wants to give up teaching, but her only legal means of leaving the college is by being pregnant. So the two girls scan a list of possible fathers. Fate takes a hand when two of the more desirable male students arrive on the scene. Is this the answer to Flora's problem?
